The shining lightI laid in what seemed like eternal darkness, encased in a prison of sorrow and anger, thinking I would never escape...but..

Suddenly a small glimmer of light shone through, a white light representing the feelings I wished to have, the feelings I thought I had lost.

As I reached for it, I noticed it grew, the light had begun to engulf the darkness, and free my soul.

I watched in awe as the world suddenly began to have worth to me again, and feelings of hapiness rushed through me.

I now know, that no matter how far into the darkness I get, no matter how strong the cold feelings are, there will always been a shimmer of light.

A shining ligh
a cold feeling...A cold feeling rises through me.  Is it a feeling of sadness? A feeling of rage? A feeling of anxiety? Or perhaps all three..

Lately all I feel is stressed and worried, lately all I see is a world that is a former shell of what I once thought it was, an empty husk.. A worthless corpse..

And yet, I still wander through my life with a hollow smile, a disguise to mask my frustration, my rage, sadness, and fear.

Why? Why do I do this? Do I fear the pity others will feel? Am I trying to repress what I'm truly feeling? Or do I just want the ones I love to contiue their happy existence? While I silently fade to blackness?
